Apple Rose Cake With Cinnamon & Vanilla

Embark on a culinary journey with Apple Rose Cake, where layers of delicate apple slices intricately weave together, kissed by the warmth of cinnamon and the sweetness of vanilla.

Ingredients :

150 ml kefir or yogurt (or whatever thick dairy you have in store)

3 eggs

150 g butter

paste from 1 vanilla bean

150 g sugar

7-8 apples (cut up in thin slices)

190 g flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1 tsp cinnamon

20 g icing sugar for dusting

500 ml boiling water to soak the apple slices


𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 :

Step 1 - Preheat oven to 185 °C.

Step 2 - Cut the apples and soak them in boiling water.

Step 3 - Add all the wet ingrediens to a bowl starting by the sugar along with butter and then eggs.

Step 4 - Lastly add the yogurt.

Step 5 - Combine all dry ingredients in another bowl.

Step 6 - Fold in the dry ingredients.

Step 7 - In a 24-26 cm springform with parchment paper attatched, pour the batter in the pan.

Step 8 - Arrange the apples like a rose flower.

Step 9 - Bake for 45-50 minutes.

Step 10 - After baking let it cool down completely before dusting with icing sugar.
