Cheesy Zucchini Roses

A delightful and eye-catching side dish that's both easy to make and a tasty celebration of flavors.

Ingredients :

1 package puff pastry, thawed

2-3 zucchini (green and yellow)

1 package goat cheese

dried thyme leaves

olive oil

salt

pepper


𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 :

Step 1 - Thinly slice the zucchini to about 1/8-inch thickness and boil for 5 minutes.

Step 2 - Roll out the puff pastry into a slightly larger rectangle than its original size.

Step 3 - Cut the dough into 6 strips lengthwise.

Step 4 - Spread one tablespoon of goat cheese along each strip.

Step 5 - Season with freshly cracked pepper, dried thyme leaves, and a drizzle of olive oil.

Step 6 - Take the zucchini slices and place them on each strip, allowing half of each slice to stick out above the pastry.

Step 7 - Gently roll each pastry strip up, starting from one end.

Step 8 - Place each roll into a muffin tin.

Step 9 - Brush each roll with an egg wash.

Step 10 - Bake at 150°C

Step 13 - Cut the dough into 6 strips lengthwise.

Step 14 - Spread one tablespoon of goat cheese along each strip.

Step 16 - Take the zucchini slices and place them on each strip, allowing half of each slice to stick out above the pastry.

Step 17 - Gently roll each pastry strip up, starting from one end.

Step 18- Place each roll into a muffin tin.

Step 19 - Brush each roll with an egg wash.

Step 20 - Bake at 400°F / 204°C for 25-30 minutes.
