Easy Creamy Chicken - A Perfect Weeknight Meal


Whether you're hosting a dinner party or simply treating yourself to a cozy night in, Creamy Chicken is sure to delight and impress.


Prep time: 50 min. Servings: 2


Ingredients :

200g of uncooked chicken breast

1 tsp of paprika

500g of potato

2 tsp of garlic salt

broccoli

1 red onion

2 cloves of garlic

50ml of double cream

1 reduced salt chicken stock cube mixed with 300ml of boiling water (use more water if needed)

1 heaped tsp of Dijon mustard

fresh parsley, chopped

salt/pepper


𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 :

Step 1 - Wash the potatoes and slice into wedges (I like to leave the skin on).

Step 2 - Boil for 5 minutes.

Step 3 - Season with garlic salt and pepper.

Step 4 - Air fry at 200°C for 25-30 mins until soft.

Step 5 - Boil the broccoli until soft.

Step 6 - Beat down the chicken before frying.

Step 7 - Season with paprika, salt and pepper.

Step 8 - Spray a pan with oil and add the chicken breasts.

Step 9 - Cook on either side for 5-10 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Step 10 - One the same pan, add a drop of water. Then add the garlic and red onion. Stir and let simmer for 2 minutes.

Step 11 - Pour in the chicken stock and double cream. Mix in the Dijon mustard. Add the chopped parsley. Season with pepper. Let it simmer again before adding back in the cooked chicken.

Step 12 - Coat each side of the chicken in the sauce and turn off the heat once it’s all coated.

Step 13 - Serve the potatoes, chicken, sauce and vegetables into two portions.
