Marry Me Tortellini

A delectable dance of cheese-filled pasta swirls, coated in a velvety tomato cream sauce, sure to make your taste buds say 'I do' with every bite!

Prep time: 15 min. Servings: 12
Ingredients :
6 tablespoon olive oil
18 garlic cloves minced
1.5 cup sun dried tomatoes in oil
3 teaspoon Italian seasoning
3 pinch red pepper flakes
6 tablespoon flour
6 cups pacific vegetable broth
60 oz fresh cheese tortellini
1.5 cup Cream
6 cups fresh spinach
3 cup parmigiano
𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 :
Step 1 - Add olive oil, garlic, sun dried tomatoes (and their oil!), Italian seasoning and red pepper Step 2 - flakes to a heavy bottomed pot.
Step 3 - Cook for 3-4 minutes or until garlic is tender and fragrant.
Step 4 - Add flour and cook for 3 minutes to create a roux.
Step 5 - Add in the vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
Step 6 - Let the mixture thicken for 3-5 minutes then add the tortellini and a pinch of salt and stir.
Step 7 - Turn the heat off and add in the heavy cream, parmigiano and spinach and stir once more until the spinach is wilted.
Step 8 - Season with salt and pepper to taste.
