Sweet Potato Hummus

Immerse your taste buds in the creamy fusion of roasted sweet potatoes, harmoniously blended with the earthy richness of chickpeas.


Total time: 30 min. Servings: 4

Ingredients :

2 small sweet potatoes (or 1.5 cups cubed), roasted & peeled

1 bulb garlic, roasted (or 2 cloves raw)

1 cup canned chickpeas (or white beans), drained

1/3 cup tahini

1/2 large lemon, juiced

2 tbsp olive oil

1/4 cup cold water

1 tsp salt

1/4 to 1/2 tsp ground cumin, to taste

toppings: drizzle of olive oil, pine nuts, chopped herbs


𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 :

Step 1 - Roast sweet potatoes and garlic bulb at 400 degrees for about 30 minutes or until soft.

Step 2 - Let cool slightly before adding the the food processor.

Step 3 - Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until fully smooth, transfer to a bowl and drizzle with olive oil and top with pine nuts & chopped herbs.

Step 4 - Store in the fridge for up to one week!
